Fun day with friends

The whole family had a great day over at the Wilson's. We finally got to meet Johanna who was born just 1 month after Cal. It was so fun to see the dad's with their kids. They have all come such a long way together having known each other for 16 years! Amazing. Our kids are going to be buddies for a very long time!

Happy St. Patty's Day!

Buddy is showing his Irish pride by sporting his super cute outfit and hat from Grandma But his favorite part is his Notre Dame socks from his Uncle Bobby! So far we have had a great day walking at the beach and relaxing at home. Now we are going to cook Corned Beef and Cabbage for daddy....thanks for the recipe Uncle Bob!

Special times with Mama and Dad

Calvin and Mama have started taking long walks on the beach here in Edmonds. It was so gorgeous out this past Friday! We can't wait for more beautiful days so we can soak in the sunshine! On Saturday Calvin and Daddy got to cuddle up and relax for a few hours. We had breakfast and watched some cartoons. Fun!!!

ROLLING OVER!!!

After many tries Calvin finally rolled over today! He went from back to tummy and we are so proud of him. And once he got started he couldn't stop. He rolled over about 10 times. And Grandma even got to see it on her web chat! It is so amazing to see him achieve different milestones. It all seems to be happening so fast. I can not even imagine that he will be walking and talking before we can blink an eye.

Hard work!

So we have been working on rolling over for weeks. A few nights ago Calvin was getting SO close. But no matter how hard he tried....and tried and tried...he could not manage to get over that darn arm. His technique was to put his legs straight up n the air and trow them to the side. He worked for so long that he finally just conked out mid roll.

GG got Cal a new walker!

Great Grandma got Calvin his very 1st walker and he LOVES it! There are 2 bears on it that he just thinks are the greatest things he has ever seen. They are best friends for sure. I am sure he will be scooting around the house before we know it!

Here's buddy trying to figure out this whole eating thing...as you will see it didn't go all that well. But rest assured we have gotten A LOT better at it since then : )

Eatin' like a big boy!!!!

Here are some pics from Cal's 1st few meals. We started with fruit and he really likes apples!!!! It's just that darn spoon that's so hard to get used to. At first he just kept jamming his fingers in is mouth which made things a bit complicated. But we are sure getting the hang of things now!
